Liches, and the creation thereof Empty Liches, and the creation thereof

So I was looking into the basis of a Lich, and it turns out that what one basically is is a Permanent Soul Jar spell powered by a link to the Negative Energy Plane. This got me thinking: Why can't I link it to another plane? What would this do to the anatomy of a Lich? Of course, being the good little fa/tg/uy that I am, I made a thing! For reference, they're the same unless otherwise noted.

Elemental Lich
- Is an Elemental, not an Undead
- Elemental subtype appropriate to element in question
- +2 to STR (Fire only), +2 to DEX (Air/Water only), +2 to CON (Earth only)
- Elemental touch attack instead of Negative one
- No Paralyzing touch
- Elemental Weaknesses/Resistances as appropriate
- Elemental Affinity (As relevant Elemental)
- Special attack (As relevant Elemental of same size)
- 100ft (Perfect) Fly speed (Air only), 30ft Burrow speed (Earth only), 60ft Swim speed (Water only), +100% Base land speed (Fire only)
- No fear aura

Positive Lich
- Is Outsider with Positive subtype, not Undead
- +2 to any one physical atribute (STR, DEX, or CON)
- +2 more to INT and CHA
- Positive energy touch, not Negative energy one
- No fear aura
- Courage aura (As Heroism)
- Immune to Sleep, Aging, Starvation, Dehydration, and Suffocation

I'd post the alignment based ones, but they're not done yet.

This is magificent. Which game book is this from though?

Also what does it mean 100ft (perfect)?

Other than those questions tough I'm liking this a lot.

This, I like. If nothing happens on IRC soonish, feel like making a few classes similar to dread necromancer - they ascend to one form of lich. I can see it working. Or hell, even alternate paths, like in Pathfinder.

The 100ft (perfect) means a flight speed of 100 feet per round, with perfect skill.

And now for the few others I've done! Alignment-based, Astral-based, Ethereal-based, and Shadow-based. I'm also working on a Far Plane-based one, but fuck, I need a bigger list of mutations.

Lich of [Alignment]
- Is Outsider with [Alignment] subtype, not Undead
- +2 to any one physical atribute (STR, DEX, or CON)
- +2 more to INT and CHA for Law/Evil
- +2 more to WIS and CHA for Chaos/Good
- Non-energy touch, not Negative energy one; Only affects [Opposed Alignment] (e.g. Chaos for a Lich of Law, Evil for a Lich of Good, ect.)
- No fear aura
- Protection from [Opposed Alignment] effects permanently.
- Immune to Sleep, Aging, Starvation, Dehydration, and Suffocation

Astral Lich
- Is Outsider, not Undead
- +2 to all physical atribute (STR, DEX, or CON)
- Fly speed with Good maneuverability and speed equal to twice base land speed
- No Negative energy touch
- No fear aura
- No paralyzing touch
- Immune to Sleep, Aging, Starvation, Dehydration, and Suffocation

Ethereal Lich
- Is Outsider with Incorpreal subtype, not Undead
- Fly speed with Perfect maneuverability and speed equal to base land speed
- No Negative energy touch
- No fear aura
- Plane Shift (Ethereal plane only) 3/day. Can be used on Ethereal plane to get to either the Material plane or the Plane of Shadow. *GAIN ONLY IF BASE CREATURE IS FROM THE MATERIAL PLANE*
- Immune to Sleep, Aging, Starvation, Dehydration, and Suffocation

Shadow Lich
- Is Outsider, not Undead
- +50% base land speed
- +2 DEX
- No paralyzing touch
- No Negative energy touch
- Plane Shift (Plane of Shadow only) 3/day. Can be used on Plane of Shadow to get to either the Material or the Ethereal planes. *GAIN ONLY IF BASE CREATURE IS FROM THE MATERIAL PLANE*
- Shadow Blend (As Shadow Mastif) but Artificial Illumination from CL 11 or higher magic negates it.
- Immune to Sleep, Aging, Starvation, Dehydration, and Suffocation

Y'know, you need to run a game using this. Level 1, maybe gestalt, everyone is liches. Go fuck shit up in the name of your plane, quasi-plane (why you no Sand Lich?), para-plane (why you no radiance lich?), or demi-plane (why you no high level psion lich?).

FAR-PLANES LICH!!! FUCK YEAR!!!!! Also, Spirit, that sound slike a brilliant idea. We may need to restrict usage of this one, but other than that, we should be good.

Far-Planes Lich
- Is Abberation, not Undead
- Ability modifiers are +4 INT, -4 WIS, +4 CHA instead of standard Lich modifiers
- No Negative energy touch
- No paralyzing touch
- Immune to Sleep, Aging, Starvation, Dehydration, and Suffocation
- Roll on the Basic Mutations table 1d3+1 times
- Roll on the Additional Mutations table
- When you respawn, flip a coin. If heads, gain either one random Basic Mutation or one random Additional Mutation. If tails, loose one random Basic Mutation or one random Additional Mutation.

All of the below tables are rolles with D10's.

Basic Mutations
Roll Result
01 Four extra arms
02 Wings (Fly (Good) at twice basic land speed)
03 Fins/Webbed feet (Swim at twice basic land speed)
04 Moar legs (Double basic land speed)
05 Chitinous Carapace (+2 to Natural Armor)
06 Hardened Skin (DR 2/Adamantine)
07 Climbing Claws (Climb at base land speed)
08 Burrowing Claws (Burrow at base land speed)
09 Natural Attack (Choose one of Horns, Claws, Bite, Sting, or Slam. You gain that natural attack. Claws can be sued with all arms.
10 Reroll twice, ignoring tens

10 Flip a coin. If heads, choose a desired result. If tails, reroll twice, ignoring results of ten if a tails is flipped on the coin.

Sub-Table 3: Dear Vectron What
Roll Result
01 Prismatic Spray (Sp) at will
02 Energy Drain (touch) (Su) (as spell) at will, heal HP equal to drained levels X 5.
03 Shapechange (Sp) at will
04 Cast as Sorceror of level equal to half your HD.
05 Manifest as Psion of level equal to half your HD.
06 Double all base speeds. Take an additional full round of actions every round. This does not apply to the round of actions granted by this ability. You are always affected by the spell Haste as a Su ability.
07 Resistance to Energy (All) 30. DR 10/-
08 Quadruple your fast healing. You can regrow limbs with this.
09 Double all your physical attributes (STR, DEX, CON).
10 Reroll twice, ignoring any duplicates if desired.
